The farm is a sanctuary to the flora and fauna of the region. Wild animals including iguanas, squirrels, butterflies, lizards, rabbits, and wall lizards can be seen in their natural habitats.

Take walks on the ecological paths that surround our facilities and see the wide variety of our mango trees, which include the azúcar, número 11, hilaza, torito, chancleta, and chancletón. Our other twelve acres are filled with papaya, soursop, sapodilla, sapote, lime, grapefruit, orange, avocado, plantain, banana, tamarind, coconut, custard-apple, mamoncillo, guava, and guadua (bamboo).

We also raise fish like the red and black Tilapia, white and black Tambaqui, Bocachico, and prawns. Children are welcome to feed the animals.

Horses may be ridden on the farm and by the river; small children may ride the donkeys. Fishing is permitted in the lake. We have nylon lines and fishhooks, and any fish caught are free of charge.

 Fish at the lake

There are places where one can relax, sleep, read, or rest in a hammock by the lake or listen to the water by the shores of the creek.

It is also possible to take a 15-20 minute hike along Matojiro creek to Mule-print falls. During this walk, you may observe the many different kinds of shore-side trees such as the carito, caracoli, trupillo, aromo, tachuelo, higuerilla, guacimo, almond, ceiba blanca, guamo, olive, laurel, camajoru, cedar, and matarratón, as well as some riverside animals.
